PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES


Business Development (35%)
• Conduct business development research across multiple markets including USAID, Department of State (DOS) and Department of Defense (DOD). This also includes capture research for opportunities across core markets for Q2 Impact.
• Support drafting proposals for US government funded opportunities.
• Support exploration of new markets and strategic opportunities for Q2 Impact.


Technical (35%)
• Serve as a research assistant by supporting research and data analysis for US government projects under Q2 program portfolio
• Support drafting and editing of client deliverables, including final evaluation reports, assessments and presentations.
• Provide support for Q2's knowledge management efforts, including updating Airtable and SharePoint databases.


Operations (30%)
• Provide administrative support to facilitate the smooth operation of the office (monitor mail, serve as a main POC for any office related inquiries)
• Manage logistics related to IT assets and project document shipments using FedEx, as well as handling asset returns for former employees.
• Provide operational support for the Q2 Impact team including arranging meetings, coordinating office events, ordering supplies, printing, photocopying and general office management.


PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration) required; Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience in conducting research and data analysis, preferably within the context of USG funded programs and projects.
• Strong writing and communication skills, with the ability to draft high-quality client deliverables and bid proposals.
• Proficiency in knowledge management systems such as Airtable and SharePoint.
• Familiarity with AI technologies, particularly Jasper AI, is desirable.
• Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to details.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently when necessary.
• Experience with business development research and bid preparation is preferred.


REPORTING REQUIREMENTS
• This position reports to the Technical Director of MEL/CLA.
