POSITION SUMMARY
Q2 Impact is seeking a qualified and passionate individual to fill the role of Senior Inclusive Peacebuilding Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring development initiatives for our projects across the globe and supporting the growth of this portfolio by identifying and leading new bids. This role requires a person with a deep understanding of Inclusive Peacebuilding approaches and how to design and implement opportunities for the participation of youth in building and sustaining peace and security. Candidates should be familiar with the Global Fragility Act, the USAID Conflict Assessment Framework 2.0, and the USAID Strategy of Women, Peace, and Security. Candidates should also have knowledge of Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI), experience working with marginalized youth populations including young women and youth with disabilities, excellent project and personnel management skills, experience in business development, and a passion for creating positive change.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the design and implementation of international development programs related to inclusive peacebuilding in line with Q2 Impact’s objectives and policies.
- Support corporate growth and business development by leading bids for new inclusive peacebuilding related contracts with organizations like US Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Department of State (DOS).
- Conduct research on global issues pertaining to the inclusive peacebuilding approaches to inform program development and implementation.
- Collaborate with local partners including youth-led and youth-focused organizations, government institutions, and other stakeholders to promote youth involvement and participation.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of inclusive peacebuilding programs, adjusting as necessary to ensure maximum impact.
- Provide technical assistance, guidance, and training to country offices on inclusive peacebuilding matters.
- Prepare reports and presentations on program progress and outcomes for internal and external stakeholders.
MINIMUM EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, International Development, or related field. A master's degree is preferred.
- At least 8 years of experience in international development, program management, or related roles.
- Extensive knowledge of inclusive peacebuilding and GESI programming, particularly in developing countries.
- Experience working in business development and leading new bids for contracts and cooperative agreements.
- Familiarity with major international donors like USAID, DOS, WHO, and the UN.
- Familiarity with specific USAID offices like the Office of Transition Initiatives, Center for Conflict and Violence Prevention, and the Office of Civilian-Military Cooperation preferred.
- Experience with curriculum and training development and facilitating trainings with young people.
- Excellent project management skills, with a proven track record of delivering results on time and within budget.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.

SALARY RANGE: USD 90000 - 110000
