POSITION SUMMARY AND PURPOSE

Q2 Impact is recruiting an experienced Director, Digital Development and Advanced Analytics to oversee the growth of our digital development and advanced analytics practice. The Director will develop and manage a multidisciplinary team of experts and develop partnerships with technology/solution providers to provide a range of solutions that address our clients' most pressing challenges. This role requires a deep understanding of the intersection between digital innovation, data analytics, and foreign affairs (USAID, DOS, and DOD), with a particular focus on emerging technologies that drive sustainable outcomes and viable/practical solutions that can work on the ground/in the field.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both business development and technical leadership, with a focus on digital transformation in the foreign affairs domain. The Director will be instrumental in shaping our service offerings, creating new business opportunities, and fostering strategic partnerships across global markets.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Leadership and Digital Innovation:

  • Lead the development of digital and advanced analytics strategies that align with client needs, especially in the international development space.
  • Oversee a team of experts specializing in data, digital solutions, and IT, ensuring cohesive project execution and innovative solution development.
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends in digital solutions and analytics, particularly in the context of federal agencies and international development.
  • Refine strategies to position Q2 Impact as a leader in delivering comprehensive digital transformation services, including scalable, sustainable solutions

Business Development and Partnerships:

  • Identify new business opportunities in digital development and advanced analytics, both domestically and internationally, with a focus on development agencies and international organizations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop and deliver compelling digital and analytics solutions.
  • Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, including federal and international agency decision-makers, technology providers, and strategic industry partners.
  • Lead proposal development efforts, ensuring solutions align with client objectives and highlight Q2 Impact’s expertise in digital innovation.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Build, manage, and mentor a high-performance team with expertise across data analytics, IT systems, and digital development.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, encouraging the team to stay ahead of emerging digital technologies and best practices.
  • Lead efforts to scale digital solutions for clients, especially in low-bandwidth and resource-constrained settings common in international development.

Client Engagement and Solution Development:

  • Work closely with clients to understand their digital transformation needs and provide guidance on integrating advanced analytics and digital solutions.
  • Ensure solutions are aligned with federal and international standards, ethical considerations, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Oversee the delivery of digital solutions, including IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, AI-driven analytics, and data management systems, ensuring they meet both technical and mission-critical requirements.

Thought Leadership and Advocacy:

  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings to promote our AI capabilities and establish the company as a thought leader in the federal AI space.
  • Author white papers, case studies, and other thought leadership materials to showcase the company’s expertise and insights.
  • Advocate for the ethical and responsible use of AI within the federal government, aligning with emerging standards and best practices.

MINIMUM EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in the federal contracting space, with a focus on business development, digital transformation, and data analytics.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams and manage cross-cultural engagements in international development contexts.
  • Proven track record of success in identifying, capturing, and managing federal contracts related to AI and advanced analytics.
  • Extensive knowledge of federal procurement processes, contracting vehicles, and compliance requirements with a focus on foreign assistance and international affairs.
  • Deep understanding of federal and international procurement processes, compliance requirements, and digital governance frameworks.
  • Knowledge of ethical AI practices and federal policies on AI and data governance.
  • Individual should be highly motivated, have an ability to multitask and have the ability to lead and grow a team. Should be able to work across different cultures and have knowledge on how to operate in low bandwidth settings.
  • Active security clearance or the ability to obtain one is desired but not required.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration, or a similar discipline. A master’s degree is preferred.

COMPENSATION

  • $155,000-175,000
