Data Quality Field Coordinator

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in Egypt, working through the Learning Activity contractor Q2 Impact, is seeking to hire a consultant to support in coordinating USAID’s FY2024 Data Quality Assessment.

Background

The USAID/Egypt Mission has contracted Q2 Impact to implement the Learning Activity. This is a five-year activity that will provide monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL) support services and build the capacity of USAID/Egypt and implementing partner staff. Specifically, the purpose of the Learning Activity is to provide performance management, monitoring, evaluation, assessments and research and learning support services and build capacity of USAID/Egypt to implement USAID’s Collaborating, Learning and Adapting (CLA) methodology to strengthen the implementation of USAID/Egypt’s Country Development Cooperation Strategy (CDCS) and enhance USAID’s organizational effectiveness.

The Learning Activity is recruiting Data Quality Assessment (DQA) Field Coordinator that will join an anticipated DQA task expected to start in October 2024. This is a consultancy role that will involve an estimated 30 level of effort days from October 2024 to March 2025, when reporting is expected to be completed. Work is expected to be done in-person and remotely.

Scope of work:

The DQA Field Coordinator responsibilities will include:

  • Support the DQA team with organizing Appointments with the stakeholders.
  • Provide a tracker with Appointments dates, hours, links and contact details.
  • Make travel arrangements within Egypt.?
  • Supports Senior DQA Specialists Expatriates in accomplishing needed.

Qualifications Requirements:

  • Bachelors’ Degree in a related field, with at least three years of professional related work experience
  • Experience with various M&E tasks; DQA experience preferred.
  • Experience working and/or consulting with international development programs required; experience working and/or consulting on USAID-related assignments preferred.
  • Experience working in Egypt highly desired.
  • Fluency in Arabic, both spoken and written, highly desired.
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written, required.
