The QED Group, LLC implements the U.S. Embassy-funded English Language Capacity Development (ELCD) program in Turkmenistan. ELCD includes trainings for English teachers, updating the existing curricula, and a series of English language courses. The company will hire trainers to conduct trainings for local teachers in accordance with the Scope of Work below.
Scope of Work:
- Organize workshops and training sessions.
- Create training strategies, initiatives, and materials for teachers.
- Observe lessons and identify teachers’ strengths and weaknesses.
- Provide feedback, advice, and individual training sessions for teachers if needed.
- Collaborate with QED staff and teachers to improve curricula, lesson plans, assessments, and classroom management techniques.
- Build teacher networks and encourage teachers to share their resources and knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in educational pedagogy and training.
- Proven experience in developing effective professional development materials for teachers.
- Extensive experience with conducting training for teachers.
- Experience in training adult learners.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
- Excellent communication skills and presentation skills.
- Ability to be flexible and work well under pressure, dealing with competing priorities, in a fast-paced team environment.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Fluency in Turkmen or Russian is required.
- Fluency in the above-mentioned three languages is an advantage.
- Expertise in developing digital lessons in the Learning Management System (LMS) format is an advantage.
- Professional competence in inclusive education is an advantage.
